Welcome to House Of Solara 〰️

House of Solara is a contemporary gallery representing Australian artists whose stories are told through paint. Bringing together a curated collection of original artworks, the gallery celebrates artists who create immersive visual worlds shaped by colour, pattern, texture, and imagination.

Rooted in a love of storytelling through art, House of Solara showcases works that move beyond decoration alone, inviting viewers into dreamlike landscapes, layered narratives, and deeply personal interpretations of place and memory. Each painting reflects the distinct voice of its artist while contributing to a collective vision that is warm, transportive, and rich with atmosphere.

With a focus on original paintings, the gallery champions contemporary Australian artists whose practices capture both the beauty and emotion of the world around them. From sun drenched scenes and expressive interiors to symbolic motifs and abstract dreamscapes, the collection is united by a sense of artistry, individuality, and escapism.

House of Solara exists as a space where art becomes both story and sanctuary. A gallery designed to connect people with works that inspire, transport, and stay with you.

“ My goal when painting is always to create something that sparks emotion. As a very active and highly vivid dreamer, I love to use my art as an extension of my brain. If I can get some of what dances in my head onto a canvas, and then that sparks something in someone else… then that’s my job done, that makes me very happy.”

“Initially, painting was a way to teach my daughter about her indigenous heritage. However, it quickly turned into a passion project and I realised how many other people wanted to feel connected too. I use art as a way to help unite people from all walks of life, to build and heal relationships and connect communities with my culture.”

“I grew up by the ocean on the east coast of Australia in Sydney. My art is inspired by the natural beauty around me, travels near and far, and imagined worlds filled with peace and hope. I create dreamlike scenes that reflect my life and aim to evoke a feeling of freedom and optimism.”

  • "Over the years I have purchased multiple artworks from Karina for my home. I love the stories and hard work behind each piece and often get compliments from guests! Karina was also generous enough to donate a piece to me for a charity auction, which we were very grateful! Highly recommend her as an artist and a person."

  • “ We are based in the UK and contacted Keira about creating a custom trio piece for us. What really stood out was how thoughtful and communicative she was. Keira kept us informed every step of the way, sharing updates and making sure we felt included in the journey from start to finish. Her warmth and professionalism made the experience just as special as the finished piece itself. The artwork is truly unique, and you can immediately see and feel the love, care, and compassion that has gone into every detail. It is clear that Keira pours her heart into her work, and that passion shines through in the finished piece. It feels deeply personal and has captured exactly what we had hoped for, and more. We could not be happier with our trio piece. and cannot recommend her highly enough. “

  • "We purchased Brumbies In Queensland from Karina at the Affordable Art Fair and it is, without a doubt, the most beautiful painting we have ever owned. From the moment we brought it home, the whole family fell in love with it - and it has brought so much happiness to our household ever since. Our little boy has his own name for it: “Karina’s horsies.” That says it all, really. When a piece of art captures a child’s heart like that, you know it’s something truly special. If you ever get the chance to see Karina’s work in person, don’t hesitate. We are so glad we didn’t walk past her stall that day. Highly, highly recommended."

  • "After following Brad’s artistic journey for a few years online we finally got to see his work in person and felt so lucky to be able to purchase a big one of his stunning originals. Brad was so welcoming and it felt really special to talk to him about his art and the meaning behind it and the processes involved in making it. We have since bought another small piece of Brad’s beautiful work online. Amazing artist and a really nice guy, always happy to have a chat and generous with his time."

  • “ We recently purchased an artwork from Keira for our office and it is one of the first things clients see when they enter. It always gets so much attention & praise. Keira was so easy to work with and really helpful with developing a colour scheme that would sit comfortably in our office. Myself and my team enjoy her artwork on a daily basis. I even purchased a second artwork from Keira for a gift for my sister. “

  • “For Art Lovers looking for pieces for home or office etc I would recommend going to the Affordable Art Fair. That’s where I met Keira and purchased my first artwork from her. Seeing how her art looks on a wall, as well as seeing colours and textures in person was great. Keira was so lovely and warm to deal with and no trouble delivering anywhere. I now have two of her artworks in my home that I have the joy of looking at every day. Putting a face to a Painting is priceless.”

  • “ I recently purchased three small pieces from Keira and had them shipped from Australia to the U.S. The artwork is beautiful—each piece has a lot of character and looks even better in person than it did online. Everything was packaged with care, and all three arrived in perfect condition. The entire experience was smooth from start to finish, and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations. I’m very pleased with the purchase and would happily buy from her again. “
